Die Lustige Tanzers (that's Texan German slang for "The Merry Dancers") is a German themed dance group performing traditional German folk dances...and the occasional comical choreography. The group loves to invite the audience to dance with them. Folk dances like Garden Waltz, Seven Step Polka, Prague Mixer, Jesse Polka, and even the Grand March are taught to guests of all ages.
They also contribute to the ambience of an event with their boundless energy and continuous interaction with guests. Folk percussion and tuned Austrian cowbells are available to make the atmosphere even more festive.
Die Lustige Tanzers performed at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston for their Oktoberfest in 2010. They've also performed as part of the variety show with Das Ist Lustig at several Oktoberfests and private parties.
